Gussy Dale Corrona

Graduated Lincoln Christian university in 1969, then went on to marriy Jim that same yr. I worked a short time in social work for the IL Dept of Child and Family Services. We started our family soon after that and I was pretty well involved in raising our 3 children, which such a special time in my life. After the children left home, I started a home based business making and selling cloth folk art dolls. I really loved the creative process involved in making the dolls. These last few years we've been pretty busy visiting with our adult children and our 4 grandchildren who all live out of state. I feel we've been so blessed since graduating in 1964.

So many fun times back in Olney at ERHS. Loved the after game dances in the cafeteria, with all those classic rock'n roll songs playing. So many memories of Gus and Mary Sliva, although I was such a terrible clarinet player and actually was petrified of Gus. However his bands were legendary and I was proud to be a part of each performance, whether marching band, concert or musical.
A fond memory for me has always been the times Carol Wilson Manhart and I drove up and down main st in her pick-up truck, just looking for 'whoever' was out cruising as well. Carol remains my oldest and dearest friend and we still occasionally reminisce over so many crazy times back at ERHS. It was a great school with many wonderful memories.
