Richard P. Weber, 94, of Olney, Illinois, passed away October 22, 2024 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Richard was born June 22, 1930 in Olney, Illinois, the son of Dr. Paul C. Weber and Dorothy (Bills) Weber. He married Nancy Walters on December 17, 1982 in Mattoon, Illinois, and she survives.

Richard enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing at the family lake. He also liked to restore antique cars, including the Ford Model T and Model A. Richard will be dearly missed by those that knew him.

Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy of Olney; daughter, Barbara Monke of Arcola, IL; son, Richard Neil Weber of Danville, IL; daughter, Donna Scherer of Springfield, IL; daughter, Sue Sheldon of Danville, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Ollie Weber; sister, Winifred True; son-in-law, Kenny Monke; son, Mark Weber.

Cremation Rites will be accorded. There will be no formal services held, and Richard will be interred at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney at a later date.
