Thomas Howser

Thomas Howser, 52, of Calhoun, Illinois died on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 4, 1969 in Kassel, Germany, the son of Daniel Howser and Judy Ann (Nichols).

Thomas was a US Army veteran and served during Desert Storm. He was a Sgt. at Lawrence Correctional Center. Tom enjoyed life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He took pleasure in motorcycle riding, camping, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends. Tom was a generous and kind man who donated his time to charitable efforts. Tom was a great man of strength, and he displayed this character until the very end.

Thomas is survived by his sister, Debra Longbons of Olney, IL; brother, Jack Howser and wife Angela of Calhoun, IL; sister, Theresa Baker and husband James of Warner-Robins, GA; brother, James Howser and wife, Shanna of Flora, IL; best friend, Luke the dog; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held for Thomas at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. Full Military Rites will be performed at the Funeral Home.

Cremation Rites will be accorded.
