James Raymond Coulter, 53, of Olney, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 1 at Miller’s Grove with Tim D. Dunahee officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend.

James was born November 3, 1967 in Olney, the first child of Phyllis and Jimmy Lee Coulter. He grew up in Olney and the surrounding area, went to school in Olney and graduated from East Richland High School in 1986. He had various jobs, including at the Olney Daily Mail, and also for a tow-truck service in Washington, Indiana. James liked to fish, pick up trash, which became his treasures to re-sell, and to spend time in his truck.

Over the past two years, James lived with his mother who helped take care of him until he passed away as a result of cancer.

James is survived by his mother, Phyllis; nephew, Devon Coulter and family

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Coulter; brother, Devon Coulter and first wife, Nancy Martin.
