Elthea (McLean) Clawson, 88, of Olney, died on December 18, 1987, at the Olney Care Center. Mrs. Clawson was born July 25, 1899 in Richland County, the daughter of James G. and Anna (Pfeffer) McLean. She married Austin Clawson in 1942, who preceded her in death on Jun 9, 1970.

She was a homemaker and active member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Clayton, MO. She was also a volunteer Pink Lady at the St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis for many years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marion Kelly of St. Louis, MO and 15 grandchildren, including Elthea Williams of Olney and Rosemary Fulk of Williamsburg, MO and 30 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter, Rosemary Keiffer.
