Elmer Doan Wilhite - Class Of 1913

Elmer Doan Wilhite, 56, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away yesterday, August 11, 1952 in his home. He was born in Olney, Illinois August 15, 1895 son of Joseph M. and Elizabeth C. (Doan) Wilhite.

He had been the manager of the Hartman Furniture Company five years. He had lived in Indianapolis for 31 years. He taught school in Illinois and Iowa. At one time he was associated with the Fairway Furniture Company.

He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and past president of its Men’s Club. He was also a member of the Riviera Club and the Riviera’s Booster organization.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Edna I. (Hill) Wilhite; a son, Elmer D. Wilhite, Jr., Indianapolis, IN and a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Millbern, Beech Grove.

Funeral services in the Clyde V. Montgomery Mortuary with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
