Madalene Anna (Schilt) Schrey, 49 years old and a resident of Glendale, Arizona since 1922, died last night, September 4, 1945 in her home at 163 West D Ave here.

Mrs. Schrey was born in Olney, Illinois October 20, 1895 daughter of Chris and Anna (Burgener) Schilt. She married Henry E. Schrey in Richland County Illinois in 1920.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church here, and was active in church activities. She held membership in the Glendale American Legion Auxiliary and the Glendale Women’s Club and was vice-grand of the Friendship Rebecca Lodge 31.

She leaves her husband, Henry E. Schrey of Glendale; two brothers, Albert Schilt of Phoenix and Otto Schilt of Olney and one sister, Ada Schilt of Glendale.

Funeral services in Glendale Memorial Park with Friendship Rebecca Lodge 31 in charge of graveside services.
