Glenn F. Edmiston - Class Of 1914

Dr. Glenn F. Edmiston, 73, prominent Noble dentist, passed away this morning, April 12, 1968 at Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. He was born August 22, 1894 in Olney, son of Charles N. and Florence M. (Cutter) Edmiston. He married Addie Schwartz in Richland County in 1922.

Surviving are his wife, Addie; a son, Glenn F. Jr. of Olney; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Jane Ann) Whitmer of Lawrenceville; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Walter Edmiston of Olney and Kenneth Edmiston of Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Helen LaVange Neil of Washington, D.C.

Mr. Edmiston started his dental practice in Noble many years ago and this has been his lifelong occupation. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I, and a member of the Richland Barracks of World War I Veterans, the American Legion, and Noble Christian Church.

Services held at the First Christian Church in Noble with Bro. Joe Eggebrecht and Bro. Edward Dowden officiating. Burial in the Noble Cemetery.

Phillip Edmiston (1965)

My grandfather was a very special and loving person. I always have great memories of my grandfather
