Miss Lulu M. Winans, 65, of Decatur, Illinois died early Wednesday morning October, 13, 1954 in Decatur at Macon County Hospital where she had been a patient since August 29^th.

Born May 6, 1889 in Olney, Illinois whe was the daughter of Joseph M. and Lottie (Baughman) Winans.

Miss Winans has lived in Decatur the past three years, coming here from Lawrenceville. She was the head dietician at the Youngstown Hospital, Youngstown, OH for 30 years.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Decatur and the American Diabetes Association.

She leaves a brother, A. Ed Winans, Springfield and a sister, Mrs. James C. Leaton of Wilmette.

Services were held in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.
