Miss Lura Huldah Bailey, 88, of Olney, Illinois died Tuesday afternoon, October 14, 1975 in Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville. She was a resident of the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville at the time of her death. Miss Bailey was born August 28, 1887 in Parkersburg, Illinois daughter of Norman A. and Etta M. (Parker) Bailey.

Miss Bailey was assistant cashier at the Olney Trust & Banking Company, Olney for more than 40 years and was a faithful and active member of First United Methodist Church.

There are no immediate survivors. Several cousins survive including Lois Bailey, Washington, D.C., Hazel Prescott and Harley Coggburn, both of Big Bear Lake, Calif. and Edna Hoffman of Indianapolis, IN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a twin brother, Guy Bailey, who died at age 14, and another brother, J. Norman Bailey, who died in 1972.

Funeral services held in Zirkle Funeral Home, Olney with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
