Aileen Landenberger (Rose) - Class Of 1906

Mrs. Elizabeth Aileen (Landenberger) Rose, 77, died Friday, August 27, 1965 in her home, 911 Wabash Ave, Vincennes, Indiana.

Mrs. Rose, a native of Olney, Illinois, born September 5, 1887, daughter of Frederick and Lucinda E. (Hendershott) Landenberger, was active here in the Fortnightly Club and the YMCA Auxiliary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She leaves her husband, W.G. Rose; three sons, Robert of Vincennes, Glen of Oakland City and Roscoe of Carlyle, IL; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Landenberger, Galesburg, IL and Dr. J.C. Landenberger, Cedar Rapids, IA;  and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Rutheford, Seattle, WA and Mrs. Jessie Cooksey, Olney.

Funeral services in the Flummerfelt Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Vincennes.
