Mrs. Lottie Fern (Schaeffer) Van Cleve, 77 of Olney died Sunday morning November 29, 1964 at home. She was born June 23, 1887 in Bradford, OH daughter of John R. and Matilda A. “Tillie” (Myers) Schaeffer. In 1945 she married Charles M. Van Cleve in Mattoon, IL and he preceded her in death in 1949 after only three years of marriage.

She leaves brothers, A.W. Schaeffer, Springfield, MO, Carl Schaeffer, Carrollton, John S. Schaeffer of California; sisters, Mrs. L.G. Ritchie, Mrs. K.A. Shriver, both of Detroit, MI, Mrs. Naomi Glasgow, Plainview, TX and Mrs. M.O. Hodgkins, Hancock, ME.

The body is at Schaub Funeral Home, Olney, IL. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
