Fred Correll - Class Of 1904

Fred H. Correll, 80, highly respected Noble Township farmer, died this morning at his home.

He was born in Crawford County on July 5, 1888, son of the late George and Ann McKinney Correll, and lived in Richland County for about fifty-five years.

He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church.

Mr. Correll is survived by his wife, Julia (Reel) Knoblett Correll, a son, Earl Correll of Rt. 1, Noble, and a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Ethel) Hazel of Rt. 1, Noble; a brother, Uris Correll of Flat Rock, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves ten step-children, 0. H. Knoblett of Palestine, Herb Knoblett of Clinton, Indiana, Mrs. Fern Pleasant of Montezuma, Indiana, Mrs. Cordelia Franklin of Newport, Indiana, Howard Knoblett of Peoria, Mrs. June Love of Wichita Falls, Tex., Mrs. Freda Yeager of Huntsville, Texas, Mrs. Irene Racop of Flat Rock, Charles J. Knoblett and Fred Knoblett, both of Robinson.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mattie, who died May 3, 1961, a son, Eugene, who died Feb. 10, 1968, a brother, Alva, and two sisters, Lura Oldham and Imo Correll.

Funeral services in the Chapel of the Schaub Funeral Home. Interment in Crest Haven Cemetery.
