Larry Dean Deckard, 46, Dixon, Illinois, formerly of Rafetown, died Sunday, May 10, 1987, in Catherine Shaw Hospital in Dixon.

Mr. Deckard was born June 20, 1940 in Rafetown, the son of Arthur "Art" and Goldie (Milam) Deckard.

He was an artist and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Deckard, California; two brothers, Milton Deckard, Malden, Wash. and Arthur Deckard Jr., St. Paul, Minn.; six sisters, Margaret Schneider, Seymour, Dorothy Yeager, Newton, Charlene Faris, Dixon, Erma Lally, Dixon, Emma Michels, West Hollywood, Fla., Martha Jane Sager, Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.
