Jack Heindselman

Jack L. Heindselman, 76, of Olney, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born January 20, 1940 in Olney, IL, the son of Mervin and Essie (Bowen) Heindselman. He married MaryAnn Runyon on December 18, 1965 in Olney, IL, and she preceded him in death on May 12, 2005.

Jack worked for Unocal Oil and was a lifelong farmer. He operated Double H Backhoe and Truck Service. Jack was an excellent cook. He enjoyed going to auctions as well as attending the events and activities of his grandchildren. He had an interest in old tractors and machinery. Jack was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family.

Jack is survived by his daughters, Shawn Marie (Alan) Thompson and Candra Renee Heindselman; son, Jack R. "Rusty" (special friend Heather Conley) Heindselman; grandchildren, Haley Marie (fiancee Carson Waggoner) Heindselman, Chelsea Ann Heindselman, Megan Renee Heindselman, and Jalynn Ann-Marie Heindselman; brother, Larry (Carolyn) Heindselman, sisters, Donna (Don) Kauble and Beulah Black; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; infant daughters, Mary and Ann Heindselman; brother, Glen "Bud" Heindselman; sisters, Betty Long, Margie Neff, Ruth Dungey.
