Albert "Joe" Simen, 78, of Olney, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.  Joe was born on February 18, 1940 in Claremont, IL, the son of Ray Isle and Opal Simen.

Joe was an avid golfer and spent most of his leisure time playing golf.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Sandy Castro of Olney, IL; 2 grandsons; 4 great granddaughters; brothers, Jack, Bob, and Mick Simen; sisters, Gladys Scherer, Sue Anderson, and Shirley Derrow; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

A graveside service held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
