The body of Mrs. Clara Engel (Lehwald) Knox was brought here Wednesday from Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Knox, age 36 passed away at her home Monday, February 16, 1931 following the birth of her daughter, Dorothea.

Mrs. Knox was the daughter of Reverend Herman A. and Mary Niedermeyer Lehwald. She was a teacher in Central school, Olney before her marriage.

She is survived by her spouse, Claire Standish Knox.

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.
