Joyce A. Price, 74, of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.  Graveside service at Calhoun Cemetery.

Joyce was born on March 22, 1940 in Calhoun, the daughter of Jake Clark and Imogene (Lagle) Clark.

Joyce cared very much for her family, particularly the grandkids and the times when the entire family could be together. In her most recent years she had been a devoted caretaker for her best friend and mother, Imogene Clark. She was an excellent cook, making large meals for the family during the holidays and sharing the candy she made with her family and friends. Joyce enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in the outdoors. She also adored pets, especially her dog Tootie. Joyce was a member of Calhoun United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her fiancee, Dave Leaf of Calhoun; sister, Dorothy Fawkes of Calhoun; aunt, Martha Haerr of Taylorville, IL; children, Jerry Wayne Price and wife, Kathy of Rinard, IL, Donita Byford and husband, Bill of Olney, and Jamie Price of Olney; grandchildren, J.R. Price, Julie Zimmerman, Jessica Crawford, Michael Byford and Riley Byford and Megan Weiss and Jamie Price, as well as five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
