Marjorie Daubs Brassie, 84, of Olney, died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Steve Wingert officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Brassie was born February 23, 1931, in Richland County, the daughter of Merrill and Mary L. Williams Daubs. She married Leo Francis Brassie Jr. on July 2, 1966. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1996.

Mrs. Brassie volunteered for the Salvation Army since 1996. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge. She was a horse-trader's wife.

Marjorie is survived by a son, Larry Chaplin of Olney; daughter, Linda Clow and husband Bill, of Olney; son, Merrill Chaplin and wife Vonn, of Mahomet; son, Gerald Chaplin and wife Robin, of Olney; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Lester, and son, Dale Chaplin.
