James E. Rule, Jr., age 72, of Joliet, passed away Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.   Memorial service held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox.  Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

James is survived by his loving family: daughter, Sherry (Peter) Madan; siblings, Frank (Margee) Rule, Mary McVaigh, Margaret Rule; grandchildren, Daniel Madan and Benjamin Madan.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clarice Rule, Sr. (Spray); wife, Paula Rule (Hill); siblings, Robert Burns, William Burns, Marie Kirby and Harold Rule.

James was a U.S. Army Veteran.
