Douglas Neil Hornback - Class Of 1956

Douglas Neil Hornback, 73, of Olney died Monday, February 1, 2010.  After a quick battle with cancer, he is now rejoicing and at peace in Christ Jesus.  Private family services with entombment at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

He was born February 22, 1936, in Olney, Ill. A veteran of the U.S. Army, local business owner and member of Calvary Baptist Church, he lived a full life in Olney with many family, friends and a blessed church family.

He is survived by his wife, Jean (McGill) Hornback, a son, Rick Hornback with spouse, Twila, a daughter, Rhonda Dufilho with spouse, Bill, along with four wonderful grandchildren, Tyler and Shelby Hornback and Ryan and Aaron Dufilho, all from Brownsburg, Ind.

Also surviving are sisters, Bev (Russell) Warren and Phyllis (Randy) Fehrenbacher, of Olney, Lucinda (Jim) Cross, from Greenup; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry (Joyce) McGill, of Paducah, Ky., Larry (Carolyn) McGill, of Vienna, Erlene Hudson, from Union Church, Miss., 17 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends, Gene and Lorna Fay Romack, Randy and Hope Gibson.

He is preceded in death by parents, Nolan and Lottie Hornback, and two nephews.
