Allen M. Pitzer, 59, Davenport, Iowa, former resident of Calhoun, died Monday May 10, 1971.  Funeral services held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with burial at Davenport.

The deceased was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pitzer and graduated from the Olney Township High School in 1930.

Mr. Pitzer was night foreman of the truck department of Lujack Schierbrock Co.

He was born March 22, 1912 in Braddock, Pa.  He married Evelyn Woolliscroft in 1945 in Davenport.

Mr. Pitzer is survived by his wife; sons, Larry D., Muscatine, Iowa and Gerald W. with the U.S. Army in Hawaii; and a sister, Mrs. Corrie (Thelma) Atkins, Lakeland, Fla.
