Roy O. Yost, 84, of Elgin, Illinois passed away Thursday, October, 31, 1974 following a lengthy illness. Burial was in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin.

He was born July 7, 1890 son of David and Elizabeth (Schilt) Yost.

He formerly lived in Olney, where he was associated with his father, the late David Yost in the real estate and insurance business.

Mr. Yost’s wife, the former Lillie Payne of Newton, died in 1968.

Survivors include one sister, Miss Pearl Yost of Olney; one daughter, Mrs. Curtis (Louise) Smith of Lake Forest and two granddaughters of Chicago.
