Helen Aileen Clark, 89, died August 10, 1978 at the hospital in Hayti, Missouri. Services held in the Presbyterian Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Paul Currie officiating. Burial in Little Prairie Cemetery, Caruthersville with Dean Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 12, 1889 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of the late Constantine and Maud G. (Mantz) Clark.

She had been a secretary, bookkeeper, and school teacher and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She also managed Caruthersville Compress Company.

Survivors include one brother, Elbert McKinley Clark of Richmond, Va.
