Mrs. Margaret Borah, 86, of Olney passed away last evening, February 1, 1977 at the Burgin Nursing Manor where she had been a resident for the past several months.

Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Summers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Borah was a native of Missouri and was born March 8, 1890 at St. Joseph,  the daughter of Dan Vernor and Carrie Peiffer Vernor.

She was married to Dr. O.C. Borah who preceded her in death. The family represents one of the pioneer Olney families and one of the most respected in our business community.

She leaves three children: Dan Borah and William Borah, both Olney businessmen, and Mrs. Carolyn Ferguson of Victoria, Texas; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, a grandson, and a great-grandchild.
