Darla Jean Ballew, 58, of Olney died Thursday April 4, 2002 at her residence.  Services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Bobby Totten officiating  Burial in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney.

Mrs. Ballew was born on December 7, 1943 in Olney, the daughter of Morris and Dorothy (Totten) Miller.  She married George Henry Ballew on February 14, 1980 in Robinson.  He preceded her in death.

She was a housewife and homemaker.  She belonged to Oblong VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Ballew is survived by her mother, Dorothy Pauline Ochs; a son, Robert Joe Fulk of Olney; four daughters, Jeana Britton of Vincennes, Ind., Jody Ochs, Misty Marie Dalby,  and Pamela Darlene Ballew all of Olney; a sister, Judith Darrel of Olney; a special aunt, Tonya Jill Padgett; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband and one son.
