Mrs. Ruth Bunn, 56, the wife of William Benton Bunn, formerly of Olney, died last week, February 19, 1946 at a hospital at Pittsfield, Illinois where the family had resided since leaving Olney.

Mrs. Bunn was the former Miss Ruth Winans, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Lottie M. (Baughman) Winans of Olney.  She was prominent in community affairs here while Mr. Bunn was Richland county Farm Advisor and the family had resided since 1928 at Pittsfield, where Mr. Bunn was Farm Advisor of Pike County.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Barbara and Charlotte; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Seaton of Wilmette and Miss Lulu Winans of Youngstown, Ohio and one brother, A.E. Winans of Springfield.

The body was brought to Olney and funeral services were held at the Olney Funeral Home with Rev. John A. Smith of Pittsfield in charge.  Burial was at Haven Hill Cemetery.
