Nola Mae Jennings (Sager)

Nola Mae (Jennings) Sager, 87, of Olney, died on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Nola Mae was born on February 26, 1934 in Colorado, the daughter of Guy and Ethel (Bowlby) Jennings. She married Jack Miller in 1954, and later married Kenneth Sager in Richland, County, IL. Kenneth preceded her in death on January 2, 2009.

Nola Mae was a bookkeeper for Champion Laboratories, Bill's Machine Shop, Kemper CPA Group, and German Township Insurance. She liked working in her garden and planting flowers. She also enjoyed collecting bells of all kind. Nola Mae was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in the church and would help with the activities they had. She also taught Sunday School. Nola Mae will be missed by those that knew her.

Nola Mae is survived by her son, Steven (Tracey) Miller of Calhoun; Grandchild, Dustin (Sharilyn) Miller of Calhoun; Sister, Nadine Baker; Step-children, David Sager, Julia Rodeheaver, and Tim Sager; Several Step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Sager; Siblings, Opal Pitts, Maxine Kurtz, Paul Jennings, and Warren Jennings

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation beginning two hours before service time at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
