William "Bill" Nicholas, 56, of Olney, died Friday, October 22, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Brother Bill Cox officiating.

Burial in Goss Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mr. Nicholas was born on October 9, 1948, in Olney, the son of Elmer and Eva (Garrett) Nicholas.

He was a driver and warehouse manager at Harris Mud & Chemical Co. He was a member of Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge in Olney.

Mr. Nicholas is survived by a son, Eric Nicholas of Chicago; and seven brothers and sisters, Jeff Nicholas of Olney, Ruth Ann Zwilling and her husband, Nick of Olney, Diana Kay Warner and her husband, Dwane of Willow Hill, Kathy Banks of Olney, Robert Nicholas and his wife, Doris of Olney, Mary Ditch of Olney and Judy Tichy and her husband, Darrell of Orem, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Elmer Jr., Howard and Bruce Nicholas.
