Mina Faris (Ewert) - Class Of 1924

Mrs. Mina Marie (Faris) Ewert, 52, wife of the Rev. W.H. Ewert, of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, died at 9:50 p.m. Friday, July 24, 1959 at the residence at 1237 N. 5th St., Springfield, Ill.

Mina was born October 18, 1906 in Olney, Illinois, daughter of David Oscar and Eva (Smith) Faris. She married Walter H. Ewert June 10, 1930 in Olney.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Robinson of Decatur, Mrs. Mayme Stump of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Dorothy Bochner of Ashland; her mother, Mrs. Eva Faris; and a brother, Harvey Faris, both of Olney; and four grandchildren.

She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
