Mary Verona Huffman Webber, 102, of Olney, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Funeral servicesat Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Totten officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Webber was born October 26, 1905, in Richland County, the daughter of Dee O. and Lucy (Bateman) Huffman. She married Gene Webber, who preceded her in death on April 3, 1954.

She taught at Central School in Olney for 25 years and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Webber is survived by her sisters, Margaret Juanita "Johnnie" Crites, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lora May "Dutch" Steber, of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
