Ed Stoll, 57, publisher of the late Olney Advocate and one of Olney's most prominent citizens for many years, died January 25, 1963 at the Lawrence County Hospital.

He had sold the Advocate to the Daily Mail two years ago and his commercial printing business was taken over by his son, Joe, at about the same time.

He was a star basketball player here and went into business with his father in 1924.
