Betty Louise (Read) Wright, 61, Olney, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Ben Woolard officiating. Burial in Eureka Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Wright was born on September 10, 1943, in Richland County, the daughter of Henry and Goldie (Harmon) Read.  She married James Richard Wright on April 6, 1966. He survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of Eureka Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, James Richard Wright, Olney; three daughters, Tammy Schilt and her husband Kevin of West Salem, Peggy Ittner and her husband Rob of Carbondale, and Brenda Kocher and her husband Wayne of Olney; a brother, Bill Read of Newton; and three grandchildren Kelsey, Kendra and Colin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother Gerald, and one brother, Robert Read.
