Doris Kay (Ellison) Wagner went to be with our Lord on July 7, 2023, one day before her 77th birthday after losing a hard-fought battle with breast cancer.  Kay was born July 8, 1946 a daughter of William D. and Shirley M. (Leach) Ellison.

Kay retired from the State of Texas as a Contract Specialist, and later moved from Austin to Lampasas in 2018 to be close to her sister, Vicky Kennedy and husband.

Doris is survived by sisters, Brenda Ginder, Nora Jean Stout and Vicki Kennedy and brother, Danny R. Ellison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Shirley Ellison; brothers, David H. Ellison, Frank J. Ellison and Stephen G. Ellison.
