Dorothy Kurtz Powis, 64, of 424 S. Whittle, passed away at noon today, March 12, 1969 at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services at Summers-Rainey Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. W.A. Robinson officiating. Cremation to follow.

Mrs. Powis was born December 18, 1904 in Peoria, daughter of A.L. and Gertrude Chesrown Kurtz. She was a member of the 1923 graduating class of Olney Township High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Olney.

She is survived by her husband, Merrill Powis of Olney; a son, Robert Crisp of Hollywood, California and two brothers, A.L. Kurtz Jr. of Olney and Robert Kurtz of Los Angeles, Calif.
