Albert ‘Ralph’ Hammer, 54, of Palatine, Illinois, died Thursday, June 30, 1960. “Ralph” was born August 31, 1905 in Jasper County Illinois son of William C. and Chloe Hammer.

He had been employed with American Telegraph & Teletype Company for many years.

He was the beloved husband of Mabel B. (Shepard) Hammer; dear father of Albert R. Jr. and Richard both of California; brother of William H. of Harvey, Illinois, sisters, Mrs. Juanita L. Ogdon and Mrs. Doris K. Watson and three grandchildren.

Resting at funeral home, 25 W. Chicago Ave., Palatine, where services will be held.

Services held July 2 in Tharp Funeral Home, Palatine, Rev. Harold Olson of the First Methodist Church officiated and interment private.
