C.M. "Jack" Heap, 77, 207 1/2 Whittle Ave. died Tuesday evening, December 30, 1980 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Gardner presiding. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Heap was born in Richland County January 27, 1903 to Mark and Elma (Dean) Heap. He was an Olney attorney for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois Law School and was a 50-year member of the Olney Masonic Lodge, a member of the Peoria Mohammad Shrine and the Illinois Bar Association.

He is survived by a sister, Doris Fehrenbacher, Newton; nieces, Joan and Janet Huff, both of Newton, and Donna Dhon, Champaign; and nephew, Allen Huff, Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
