Robert F. Owens, age 93, of Kettering, Ohio passed away Monday, November 25, 1996 at Heartland of Kettering. Robert was born October 1, 1903 in Daviess County, Indiana, son of Edward G. and Effie (Fringer) Owens.

Formerly a resident of Lamont Drive in Kettering, he was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, long-time active member of Friends of the U.S. Airforce Museum, the Kettering Senior Citizens and the Masonic Order in Chicago.

Robert was a retired engineer from the Sheffield Corporation.

He is survived by Joy Doerffel and other nieces and nephews and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Hazel (Robinson) Owens and his sister, Virginia Fishback.

Graveside services at David’s Cemetery, Kettering, Ohio.  Routsong Funeral Home, Kettering in charge.
