Dr. Charles K. Shannon, 104, of Mt. Carmel, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at Wabash General Hospital in Mount Carmel.

He ran his own dental practice in Mount Carmel from 1924 to 1979, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Oressa Lambert Shannon; a daughter, Cleo Belcher; three stepsons, Bill and Frank Haeberle and Leo Lambert; several stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services at Short Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
