Robert L. Bellinger, 61, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Olney died Monday July 1, 2002 at his home.

Services at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas with Brother James Mason officiating. Burial in Garden of Promise in Palm Memorial Gardens in Las Vegas.

Mr. Bellinger was born on November 11, 1940 in Richland County, the son of Leo and Tressie (Shick) Bellinger. He married Shirley Wilson formerly of Dundas on June 10, 1952. She survives.

After  working at Gaffner's Drug Store and Wilkins Chevrolet in Olney, he relocated to Tucson/Las Vegas area and has worked as a real estate broker, homebuilder and land developer since the early 1970's. He was a member  and lifetime director of the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association, having served several officer terms.

Mr. Bellinger is survived by his wife, Shirley Bellinger of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Sharon (Gillespie) Phillips and her husband, Ralph of Bridgeport; and a niece, Peggy (Gillespie) Smith and her husband, Joe of Reelsville, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
