Hazel Maude McKinney, 75, Lawrenceville, Illinois died Monday, August 12, 1985 in Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Services held in Nichols-Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with Rev. Philip Richardson presiding. Burial in Crest Haven Cemetery.

Miss McKinney was born Dec. 9, 1909, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Flaud and Stella (Wright) McKinney. She taught elementary school for 40 years before her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville.

Survivors include four brothers, Wayne of Mt. Olive; Donald of Decatur; Clyde of Longview; Stanley of West Virginia; a sister, Harriett Taylor of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews and a life-long friend, Ruby Correll.
