Georgia Trotter (Taylor)

Georgia (Trotter) Taylor, 70, a former resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico and now of the community of Belen, passed away Friday morning, April 2, 1982 at an Albuquerque hospital after a sudden illness.

She was born May 31, 1911 in Illinois a daughter of Dr. George S. and Elsie (Hilborn) Trotter.

She was a member of the Pera Del Sol Golf Club in Belen, a member of the Women’s Golf Association, past-president of the National Association of Legal Secretaries and a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Taylor of Belen; two daughters, Mrs. R.E. Davis of Santa Fe and Mrs. Larry Thotson of Salt Lake City; two sons, Glenn Johnson of Summit, N.J. and John Taylor of Chi-Chiltah, N.M.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mary E. Trotter Bailey and Ellen F. Trotter Nelson.

Memorial services held at Romero Funeral Chapel in Belen with interment in National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
