Edward S. Richardson, 74, Aurora and formerly of Olney died Friday September 19, 1986 in Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora.  Services in Aurora with burial in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Mr. Richardson was born October, 21, 1911 in Olney, the son of Edward and Hulda (Strathman) Richardson. He married Dorothy Virginia Hack February 25, 1938.

He was publisher of the Fox Valley Labor News, having previously been publisher of different newspapers of the Fox Valley area.  He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Elgin; the Kiwanis and other service organizations and was a leader in Elgin area Boy Scout programs.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Robert Richardson and Eddie Richardson; two sisters, Mary and Verna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
