Frank Lathrop, 70, Rt. 2, Noble, died at the family residence Sunday October 25, 1981.  Services at Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Whitall presiding. Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Lathrop was born January 11, 1911 in Lawrence County, the son of Mont and Daisy (Caudle) Lathrop. He married Jean Forrest December 1, 1946 and she survives.

He was a farmer and a member of the Noble United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include a son, Kurt, Champaign; three daughters, Elva Waxler, Olney; Charlotte Peach, Lisle; and Linda Douglas, Rantoul; a brother, Maurice Lathrop, Indianapolis, Ind.; four sisters, Helen Coen, Olney; Sylva Dix, Tulsa, Okla.; Loraine Kraus, Bloomfield, Ind.; Opal Moquin, Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charlie and Maynard; two sisters, Elva and an infant.
