Ray Bartley, 64, well known resident of the Calhoun community, passed away Saturday afternoon April 5, 1975 at the Burgin Nursing Manor.  Funeral services at the Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowell McDowell officiating. Interment in the Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Bartley was a lifelong resident of the Calhoun vicinity and was the son of Sam Bartley and Laura Askren Bartley, born April 26, 1910. He had been engaged in farming and for about three years was employed by the City of Olney. He was married to Elizabeth Brady on April 27, 1947.

He leaves his wife and four children; David Bartley of Tucson, Ariz., William Ervin of Salinas, Cal., Connie Bartley of Anna and Janet Ducey of Springfield. There are ten grandchildren.
