Edgar Clodfelter, 64, of Rt. 6, Olney died Sunday evening September 29, 1974, at the Richland Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services in the Zirkle Funeral Home with Rev. R. James Weiss officiating. Interment in the Brown Cemetery west of Mt. Erie, Illinois.

Mr. Clodfelter was born in Edwards County, September 29, 1910, the son of Amos and Lydia (Gaede) Clodfelter. At the age of six, his family moved to Olney. He was united in marriage June 18, 1934 in Vincennes, Ind. to Marjorie Van Fossan.

He was employed for 22 years by Goodale Grocery Wholesales, Co., serving as manager. In 1956 he went to work for MoorMan's Feed Co., retiring in 1974.

He was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church of Olney and a member of the Olney Lodge No. 926, B.P.O.Elks.

Besides his wife, Marjorie, he is survived by two brothers, Carl of Olney and Earl of Memphis, Tenn. and two nieces.
