Mrs. Leda P. McBride, 48, of Anna, Illinois, died Friday, August 8, 1958 in Union County Hospital, Anna. She had been hospitalized 23 days.

She was born in Broughton, June 25, 1910. She was a member of the Egypt Branch of the National League of American Pen Women, the Anna First Methodist Church and the Anna American Legion Auxiliary. She had lived in Anna about three years.

She leaves her husband, Raymond Roscoe McBride of Anna; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe S. Pennington of Greenville; sisters, Mrs. Robert C. Clough of Lombard and Mrs. William G. Tuel of Tonawanda, NY; and brothers, Lester Pennington of Olney, John Pennington of Chicago, Joe Pennington of Washington, DC and Donald Pennington of Greenville.

Services in the Anna First Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Commodore Grove, officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Ava.
