Lois Fern Wettreau, 76, 3 Stanley Drive, Olney, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1987, at Burgin Manor East Nursing Home, Olney.  Services at Summers Funeral Home, the Rev. Jerry St. Clair presiding. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Wettreau was born Dec. 19, 1910, in Richland County, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Slichenmyer) Jennings.  Mrs. Wettreau married John Ermil Wettreau on June 1, 1946, in Henderson, Ky. He died Feb. 14, 1986.

Mrs. Wettreau was a retired school teacher. She taught in Richland and DuPage counties and in Washington state.

She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Illinois Retired Teachers Association and South Olney Unit 1 Home Extension.

Mrs. Wettreau is survived by two brothers, Jean Jennings of Olney and Charles Jennings of Fairview Heights; and a sister, Joy Miller of Olney.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Wettreau was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
