Karl K. McWilliams, 76, Freeport and formerly of Olney, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1987, in Freeport.  Graveside services in Haven Hill Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Burgener presiding.

Mr. McWilliams was born Sept. 4, 1910, in Olney, the son of Clyde and Effie (Lucas) McWilliams. He married Hazel Seiler June 9, 1938.

He was a school teacher for 39 years teaching at West Richland High School and also at Freeport High School. He retired in 1972.

He was a member of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge and a charter member of the Golden "K" Kiwanis Club in Freeport.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; a son, Ronald McWilliams of Newark, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Vernon (Dorthea) Burgener of Springfield.
