Lee Grubb

Edward L. Grubb, 78, of Tampa, Florida and formerly of Sumner, Illinois, died Saturday May 12, 1990 at his home.  Graveside services in Sumner City Cemetery.

Mr. Grubb was born November 15, 1911 in Noble, Ill., the son of Fred and Hattie (Winzenberger) Grubb.  He married Geneva Edmunds and she survives. He moved here in 1947 from Ohio.

He was a retired rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association and of the U.S. Postal Clerks Association. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a Mason and a member of the Egypt Temple, Tampa, and the Scottish Rite, Tampa.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva; two stepdaughters, Joan Lockridge and June Cardoso, both of Tampa; a brother, Bill Grubb, Vincennes, Ind.; a sister, Bernice Hill, Virginia; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
